PERIMETER FENCING

Robotics and other large machinery, such as pallet wrappers, are often safe-guarded by perimeter fencing. These machines are particularly hazardous because of automatic and high speed operations, and great forces they can generate. GE Security Industrial offers a safety system with the highly defeat resistant 300-BT Series safety interlock switches and INT safety monitor relays to interlock the fencing gates, disabling the machines inside the fence when gates are opened. GE Security Industrial's mechanical safety interlocks are another great option. The FD series Rope-Pull mechanical switches are used for perimeter guarding. The FS series key-operated safety switches with solenoid or FD series key-operated switches with manual time delay prevent operators from physically entering areas until machine danger is completely eliminated.
