Sentrol* Offers New Safety Relay INT-22.5-024 designed for use with Sentrol's 300-BT Guardswitch™ Series of non-contact safety switches

Sentrol Industrial* has introduced the newest member of its safety monitor relay family, the INT-22.5-024. The relay is used to monitor the switching elements that ensure the safe operation of industrial equipment and machines. Such switching elements are installed on protective gates, doors, housings, shields and enclosures.

At 22.5mm in size, the Sentrol INT relay is among the smallest on the market. It was designed to accommodate space-constrained installations. The INT relay can be powered with 24 VDC or 24VAC and has a simultaneity of 300 ms. The output circuit consists of 3 N.O. safety contacts, and 1 N.C. control contact that are all positively driven. The input has a two-channel control circuit requiring 1NO and 1NC contacts and cross monitoring feature.

The INT-22.5-024 was designed for use with Sentrol’s 300-BT Series GuardSwitch family, and is a key part of a safety circuit including any of the non-contact 300-BT Series switches making it is among the most defeat-resistant system of its kind on the market.

The new relay meets the requirements of EN 201 and EN 422 Type I and II. It is equipped with four removable terminals that provide for quick installation and removal. The terminal locations are coded and not interchangeable.
