Sentrol* Introduces New Panel Door Magnetic Contact

Sentrol* has introduced its new 2315 Series Contact, specifically designed for panel or sectional style overhead doors in any industrial plant.

Also called the 2315 Snap ‘N’ Go Magnetic Contact, the new device fits most doors, installs in minutes, readily ties in to any commercial alarm system and is UL listed.

The 2315 Series is a three-part unit. A uniquely designed contact module attaches to a door channel, including the widely used two and three-inch sizes. It is held in place by an adjustable L-bracket that accommodates varying channel sizes, and a firmly locking set screw. The magnet is separate, and mounts vertically on the panel door.

Because it is installed off the floor, the 2315 Series is immune to damage and misalignment problems that trigger service calls and false alarms on floor-mounted units. Also, the combination of a rugged extruded aluminum housing and Sentrol’s exclusive potting compound makes the unit highly corrosion resistant. In recognition of varying user needs, the 2315 Series is available in closed loop as well as open or closed single-pole, double-throw configurations. Gap distances range up to three inches to accommodate poorly fitting doors.
